Rawlinsons are currently engaged by the Town of Victoria Park for cost planning, BOQ production and tender analysis services for the redevelopment of the Perth Football Club and Community Facility as part of the Lathlain Precinct Redevelopment.
The project scope includes the demolition of the existing 1958 grandstand which currently comprises of multiple spaces utilised for events, food and beverage, administration, ablutions as well as sporting facilities such as change rooms and gymnasium. The spectator seating is currently non-compliant and the focus for the new grandstand is to guarantee universal accessibility as well as the inclusion of women’s football and ensuring the space can be well utilised as a community hub. The project scope also requires broadcasting facilities to AFL standards. The project is being built adjacent to the existing West Coast Eagles training facility and the relationship between the two buildings needs to be considered throughout the design and costing stages of the project.
The project is currently with Council to decide on a design option and confirm project budgeting.
