Rawlinsons were engaged in late 2018 by the Department of Finance, Building Management and Works (BMW) to provide full cost management consultancy services from initial cost planning through to contract finalisation for a project at Wanneroo Secondary College.
Constructed on an operational live site, the project included a new state of the art sports hall with an associated toilet block, change rooms, two hardcourts and extensive landscaping as well as a new carpark.
Working closely with BMW and the project design team, Rawlinsons reviewed and provided advice throughout the cost planning stage in relation to procurement options, risk identification and coordination issues.
The project was completed in 2020 well within the project budget of $5 million with minimal issues.
