Rawlinsons is currently engaged by Department of Finance to prepare Order of Magnitude Cost Estimates for the Royal Perth Hospital Smoke Hazard System.
The options costed to date are as follows:
- Smoke Wall System – Including the repair of existing walls and penetrations to create a smoke wall as well as the addition of smoke dampers to each duct penetrating the smoke compartment
- Smoke and Fire Wall System – In addition to a smoke wall system, this includes a fireproofing the compartments
- Smoke and Fire Wall System with Fire Pressurisation System – In addition to smoke and fire proofing the compartments, a fire compartment pressurisation system was also included.
